With a background at a top-tier law firm, I bring extensive experience in both private practice and in-house roles for major mining, consumer, and facilities management brands. I am often the go-to person for navigating complex issues, utilizing my strengths in commercial contracts, minerals, mergers and acquisitions, corporate law, and special transactions. High-value drafting and negotiating material contracts for major undertakings (incl. facilities management, cleaning, camp services, operating infrastructure and mine services, chartering ships, selling coal, sharing and dealing with tenements, success fee deals with investment banks and others).

Deep experience advising on material legal issues for mining and other clients (incl. acquisitions and farmouts of mining tenements, approvals, taxation, land transactions, corporate resolutions, small scale fundraising, transfers and environmental issues).

Granular advisory skill in advising on contract exit strategies and managing claims.

Teaming success in working with broader teams of contributors to meet project goals (claims, tenders, closedowns, acquisitions and sales, complex advice with multiple authors).
